Work 2018 - 2019

Moving to Cornwall in 2013 introduced me to new influences and it seems almost impossible to live in Cornwall without being immersed and strongly influenced by the Cornish environment. Starting the process of painting after a break of 40 years my work explored the wider Cornish landscape - from Nare Head on the south coast to Botallack mine on the north - and many other classic Cornish locations - but ultimately focussed on the area around Portscatho.
